Dossofiorito are the designers Livia Rossi (1980) and Gianluca Giabardo (1982).The studio, whose name comes from an old salvaged neon sign, was founded in 2012 in Verona and is currently based in Helsinki, Finland.

In a former car workshop in the suburbs of town, the duo carries out in an empiric way its researches on forms and materials, aiming to combine in their projects a wide contextual research, encompassing each time different fields and disciplines, with an innovative use of craft.
The work of Livia and Gianluca spans from self initiated collections of objects to commissions from institutions, companies and private customers; from site specific installations to the ideation and conduction of children workshops. Although varied, many of Dossofiorito’s projects share a performative and relational attitude and often act as a vehicle for thoughts and considerations that go beyond the physicality of the object and its immediate fruition.
