Batches is the name of the new products range of Dossofiorito.
Since its foundation in 2012 the design studio has very often followed the entire development of its projects, from the initial concept to the final output on the market.
What at the beginning has been a path undertaken to satisfy the interest of people even in absence of producing companies, with time has allowed the studio to develop its own design stile: proposing ambitious projects in terms of research and quality of the outcomes.
Gathering in a small collection a revised version of previous years works and newly developed pieces, the studio is embracing with a better awareness this small scale production approach.
Each piece of Batches has been realized in close collaboration with very skilled Italian craftsmen, always looking for good and sustainable materials and taking care of every little detail.
THE PHYTOPHILER
A series of hand-made ceramic pots on which functional appendices are installed, suggesting possible gestures and daily care for the plants that inhabit our living spaces.
These additional elements represent attempts to interact with the domestic world of plants, through methods and sensibilities that are typical human acts.
Gestures that improve our relationship with plants, and that are important evidence of a new widespread attitude towards nature and of an established awareness of finding ourselves in front of sensitive beings that belong to an “other” world that completes us.

A collection of suspended vases in white ceramic, conceived to offer to those houseplants that in the wild would grow on tree branches, an alternative to the traditional pot cultivation.
The vase, enveloped by the roots as a branch and thanks to the porosity of the central body, once filled with water will provide the plant for several days with the right amount or humidity. It will favors the plant’s growth without any constraint.
BALENA
Balena, the italian word for whale, is a large capacity caraffe.
When suspended on its marble base, Balena can tilt on itself, pouring the contained beverage without effort and almost weightlessly.

Good Night and Good Morning are two floating bedside table with a little drawer.

Within its small surface it holds safely in place a caraffe and its tumbler making a fresh glass of water always available in the middle of the night.

Bedside table with a drawer and a fully pull out shelf providing extra space and a safe hold for a cup of coffee or even a small breakfast thanks to the three milled circles.
POTTABLE
Little coffee table in solid oak to create a flexible space and easily move around the house those plants that need a different exposition throughout the seasons.
